Extremely impressed with quality of unit, ease of operation and the added functions that are standard. Starting is simple with push-button start and automatic choke. It was easy to set up, Installed wheels and feet to frame, hookup battery cables, add engine oil and gasoline, start engine, run and add power cord.

After Irma last year, I was determined never to go through a week of my life without power again. I just got my WGen7500 two weeks ago and although I haven't had an emergency use yet, I did assemble, start it up, and hook up some appliances, lights, fans, etc. Easy to start ( push button and remote ), plenty powerful, and surprisingly quiet. Not whisper quiet but a lot better than the one I borrowed last year from a friend. I hope now to get an electrician to hook me up with a Transfer Switch at my electric panel so I can run circuits indoors that are hard wired. Now I feel my Hurricane Emergency Planning is complete. I'll gladly add the fifth star to my rating after I see the results of running this machine for three or four days.

Ordered after a three day power outage and had to manually bail my sump pump every three hours. Price was great and compared favorably with other manufacturers models at this size and wattage ( wgen7500 model ). Am having interlock switch installed by my electrician. I expect it will serve its purpose well. I have owned Westinghouse appliances and they have worked well.

Purchased WGen7500 as a backup power source for my home. Easy to set up, battery comes charged, oil is included - just added gas, pushed a button and it fired right up. I like the FOB control and the design as well. Best portable generator I have owned so far.
