Save my sanity, sleep better at night.

I purchased the WGen7500 after much research on web. I believe it fits my needs exactly and will provide me the electricity I need when the power goes out. I live on the Texas gulf coast so hurricanes and recently freezes create power supply issues. I read the manual and it is very useful; everyone should read it. I plan to operate it monthly to ensure and insure my electricity will only be out for a short while when needed in an emergency, so familiarity is a must. The machine operates quietly, though I suggest wearing ear protection, I plan to have an emergency connection to my home electric panel installed; I have an electrician setup to install the needed connections and to discuss the safety aspects of using the home connection. This is important so as to not cause insult to injury due to power feedback from utility provider.

We bought this in anticipation of hurricanes and predicted rolling blackouts. It is much easier to operate than I thought. Starts easy with any of the three methods. Great features. We are ready to go!

After a few months of research to replace my old generator the Westinghouse is the best deal. I upgraded to an electric start and remote start. Generator was easy to assemble and fired right up. I am very satisfied.

This generator was rated as "Amazon's Choice". It had a 4.6 out of 5 with 7,000 + reviews. This generator was also rated "Best over All" for 2021 by This Old House! Once out of the box it was easy to put the wheels on and it started up in 4 cranks with the electric start feature. Power was supplied and tested. We will wait to see how it really works if a hurricane comes our way.
