Older single female purchased this generator due to its easy to use features. Is a large enough unit to power what I need and is transfer switch ready.

I bought this generator a few days ago to prepare for power outages in our area. After reading all the reviews I decided to go with this model to not only power our home but also our well pump and septic pump. The generator basically was ready to use after attaching the wheels and feet to the frame and adding the engine oil included. It was easy to start and has met my expectations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

like the title says it was easy to set up and get running. powering the house was easy and straight forward. only complaint is that there was a card in the package that stated if i left a review i would receive a free cover for the generator but when i came to do the review it said it was no longer available. why have the card if you know its no longer available?

I had this generator delivered,put together and running within an hour,it's pretty quiet and user friendly as far as instructions go. I ran it from hand start, push button and remote control, started right up all three ways. It will definitely come in handy down the road.

Comes with everything you need, except gas

It's heavy. Really heavy. But thankfully it's pretty easy to tip it to one side or the other in order to get the wheels and feet installed. It comes with all the tools you need (wrench, oil, and spark plug tool) as well as a funnel for the oil. I used a 10 mm socket wrench just because it's easier but the included wrench is fine.
I like the black powder coat finish and the controls are simple. Hooking up the battery was straightforward, but different than the manual describes (the wires are already connected to the terminals, just need to hook up the quick disconnect cables which is easy).
Loaded oil (included) and gas (supply your own), flipped the breaker On, turned on the fuel switch, hooked up the battery, pressed the start/stop button and it fired right up. Took about 30 minutes to get it running.
Moderately loud at idle, but have not yet tried it at full load. I especially like the LED status readout showing volts, frequency, and hours in operation. The hours counter is especially useful when you need to know when to replace the oil.
The rubber covers over the plugs don't snap on completely near the top, but it's better than not having them at all. The handles work well and fold out of the way so it fits in storage well.
Overall, I like the fit and finish, and it comes with everything you need to get started (except gas). Very easy to use.
