Bought the gen 7500 generator because it had such great ratings. I received it and tried the electric start, did not work, Sat on the phone for a half hour waiting to talk to someone then the phone rang and rang and rang. no one answered.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ease of Assembly, Easy Start!

Just bought the unit and put it to use immediately following Hurricane Nicholas. Assembly was so easy. Starting it the first time would have been easier if I had actually read the instructions first.
My only complaint is the noise level. This is a LOUD unit so move it as far away from your house as possible.

Very Happy With Features

The generator is very cleanly laid out, simple but intuitive electric panel. It has electric start, but I wanted to try the lanyard for the initial go, and it started with one pull and runs smoothly. The battery comes fully charged, I checked it with a voltmeter. At this size, the unit is heavy as expected, but with the handle and wheels, it's no problem to move around.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this a couple weeks ago and I couldn’t be more pleased. It less noisy than I anticipated with plenty of kilowatts to meet all of my electrical needs and more!
