Solid Workhorse

As a better economical alternative to a whole house generator, we are now up and running with a little more than just the basics. We live on the east coast and face our share of Northeaster's and hurricanes, now we have a back up plan for power outages. No more worries of loosing the freezer's contents. No more candles throughout the house.

Runs great and I love that they send everything you need to get up and running quickly. And I respect that Westinghouse doesn't market with peak watts but with running watts. They're not playing word and number games; just delivering good, reliable products.

Quick start up

Purchased for backup power in Florida. Received it in great shape and within a week of ordering. Followed the manual and generator started and ran smooth. Took less than 1/2 an hour to get on line. Works great!

Have owned several generators over the past 30 years. This one is better built with more convenient control layout than any of the others. With the remote start I can sit in the family room to start it without making sure that I'm dressed for the weather.

Great generator

I just bought this generator as we are approaching the hurricane season. I connected it to a panel board transfer switch. I used ethanol-free fuel. The generator is efficient, comes with a nice remote start feature, wheels for portability, and lots of nice safety features. I would have loved to get the DF model which was not available in stock, but this one works just fine. I just have to use gasoline.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
