Good for noobs

I just bought it a week ago to prepare for another Snowmageddon. Hopefully I won't need to use it. I'm still working on setting it up, but so far seems pretty easy to do

Perfect for whole house backup

I was researching generators for several weeks and decided the 7500 is the best for me as a backup for my whole house since power grid in Texas did not enter the 21st century. I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

Remote Start Device Great for Snow or Ice Weather

We purchased this a month ago and have yet to use it; however the set-up went forward without a hitch. The remote start feature worked the very first time we tried it. For us it was a good choice as a whole house generator for downed power lines, which are common in Western North Carolina. We calculate it will keep our electric ignition/gas furnace, well pump, and refrigerator going for the duration of power out. We have a very small cabin home and don't need a whole house automatic generator system, which costs 3 or 4 times more than this unit. We wish the assembly instructions had included more specific information on how to use the battery re-charger, included in the unit. The electrician who helped set up our circuit panel to receive the generator showed us how to use the battery re-charger.
