I bought this generator due to power outages in our rural neighborhood, and am so happy I did because it is exactly what we needed.

Great quality and reliability

Bought April of 2020. Heavy yes , but what do you expect with a 420cc engine and 6.6 gal of fuel. Very Fuel efficient. Living in Maine and being amongst the trees we have to have a power back-up. Other makes don't really compare to the electronics in this. Gas gauge is a bit cheap, but works good enough. Bought the smart switch, but haven't installed yet. SW is hard to obtain right now. This will work like the expensive home models minus the high costs. Battery charger a plus. With it plugged in the control panel while letting it run every couple of months will maintain the Battery just fine. When putting together I put marine grease on exposed welds that didn't hold paint, but they were just small tack welds on frame cross members. Started right up after putting on the wheels. Don't need any Tim The Tool Man gruffy remarks to get sold on this. . My wife loves it. Its the REAL deal out there.

Great Features for Performance & Storage

I purchased the backup generator in May 2020, and it was very easy to assemble out of the box. Plus it is compact and small enough to store in the garage. Had an electrician install a manual transfer switch with 6 generator circuits in conjunction with the home main circuit breaker panel. When tested, the motor/generator started right up and it powered my master bedroom & bath lights, plugs, and ceiling fan; den lights and plugs, including TV, modem, etc.; kitchen lights & plugs for coffee pot and toaster; refrigerator; and microwave. By monitoring and controlling the total running watts, should be able to also power a 12,000 BTU AC unit for the bedroom. Am now ready for the hurricane season...

Bought this a couple weel ago Have not needed it yet but put oil and gas in it and it started right up. Great delivery, very easy to work with.
