Powerful and easy to start

We plan on using the generator to power our house on a power outage. The issue that I had was damage upon delivery, which took three weeks to repair before I could run it. Once I got it back and running, it worked like it should.

Generator arrived well packaged. Wheels and supports were easy to install. Once the battery was attached, oil reservoir filled, gas added, I was ready to try to start it. Turned fuel supply (easily accessible) to "on", turn run switch on and flipped breakers, and the generator started up and ran just fine. Having survived several tropical storms and hurricanes in norther Florida without power, I now feel ready to have fans and refrigerator and a few extras during the next storm.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very nice Generator - First test successful

Just completed first test of powering my mother's home and all is well. Pretty much powered every thing in the home except Stove, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher etc. Ran for an hour and everything connected to the Westinghouse generator ran normally. After receiving the generator, I installed the wheels and front legs (pads) (very easy to install by the way). I noticed that the wheels (no flat) had bearing installed instead of bushings, a very nice touch and a good sign this is a quality machine. Added the supplied oil and pulled the pull cord several times to "Prime" the oil pump before starting. Added gas and started the generator still using the pull starter and fired up on the second pull. Ran it for one hour for the break-in. No issues what's so ever. Connecting the supplied battery was an easy task also. Pressing the Start button on the side provides an instant start and even the choke works automatically. I also tested the remote start and it worked like it should but I don't see me using it. This generator is replacing an 12 year old Onan generator with +600 hours so it has a big challenge ahead of it.
