Would of given 5 stars except it was lost in transportation for 3 1/2 weeks. It was well packaged and on its own pallet which alleviated my dread why it was lost. Have not used generator but it is well thought out in design and easy to assemble the wheels and legs.

Very solid machine and it is every thing they say it can do. Set up was very easy but the little funnel to place the oil in the generator could be about 4 inches longer. Once all the steps to start up the generator were completed it started right up. I read a lot of reviews of this and other generators and this one lives up to all them.

I replaced a 15 year old portable generator with this electric start unit because at 82 it has become extremely difficult to use pull cord manual start. I researched portable generators for days and kept coming back to the Wgen7500. Being 82 years old; an Extra Class ham operator and holding FCC broadcast engineering licenses for over 60 years in addition to being a power plant operator for 40 years, it takes quite a bit of engineering and operating convenience to impress me! After unpacking the Wgen7500, performing the very few and simple assembly steps I was immediately impressed. After adding oil and fuel and performing the first start I was more impressed. The starter turned the engine over perhaps 2 or 3 times and it was running. After studying the features listed in the well written manual and comparing these features to the well laid out panel I can honestly say I was blown away impressed. The digital display readings read exactly as my homebrew panel consisting of commercial grade meters. The output was 238VAC @ 62.5Hz. While the frequency was higher than the 60Hz commercial frequency, I speculated that the frequency would drop as the power load increased. This was my experience with my previous generator. At any rate 62.5Hz is well within acceptable levels. The features of this unit are too extensive to address individually but all operated as advertised, including the padded transport handle which made moving the unit around very easy, even for this old man. The only two features I would have liked to have seen are a separate tank drain petcock which I found a necessity on my old generator and a a low oil level shutdown switch. This second item is necessary only on old worn out machinery that uses oil. I recommend this unit and would buy it again in a heartbeat!
