9500/7500 Westinghouse Generator

I installed this Westinghouse 9500/7500 generator on an interlock and test ran it twice. It works great, almost run the whole house. The remote work from a good distance as well if you want to remote start it.

Great generator that gets the job done. Instructions and user manual are clear. Word of caution- this generator is a beast that weighs over 200 lbs. if you’re buying it in store make sure you have the means to move it.

Excellent Product

Before purchasing this WGen7500C portable generator, we did extensive research to compare similar products in the big box stores, as well as the Consumer Reports reviews. Our conclusion is that this model was the winner, comparing all features and price. My personal favorite feature is that this model is a bit less noisy compared to the others.

Not happy... yet

The very first time we took it out during a power outage, it died after one hour and wouldn't restart. Bummer. Hopefully support will help us so we'll be prepared for the next outage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for connecting to a home transfer switch.

I bought this generator due to losing power frequently over the past couple of years. We had a transfer switch installed and this thing runs all of our necessities.

we live in northren mich. we were right in the middle of a huge ice storm. we were with out power for about a week and half i got WGEN7500C GENERATOR THE SECOND day and it worked flawlessly it was quite and we had power when a lot of people did not..This generator save are food gave us light and kept us warm with the furnace running

I bought this a few days ago so I have not had a chance to use it to power my house but it did start right up and ran perfect. Assembly was very easy, just had to install the feet, the wheels and add the oil. It appears to be very well made and I love that is has electric start. It even has a fob for remote start. Very glad I bought it!
