This generator was the right fit compared to the other model I had. This model does NOT have a CO sensor which caused the problem for me before, constantly shutting the unit down. The generator is well built with the right features and had no problem powering my house through the transfer switch. The only issue I had was that the battery was dead.
I bought the generator in November and when I received it it took about 30 minutes to un-box, assemble the wheels, front feet and put oil and fuel in it. It started right up and will be able to power a lot of electrical appliances in our home which will be about 6700 watts. That will be more than sufficient, with plenty of power left over to be used for other things. Looking forward to the next power outage.
Would highly recommend this generator WGen7500c to other family and friends or anyone considering in purchasing a generator for their home.
I bought the WGen7500 in December 2021. I unboxed the product; completed the installation; and the generator started on the first pull. I have been starting it and letting in run every 6 to 8 weeks.
I had a Reliance Controls 10 circuit 30AMP transfer switch installed this past summer.
A couple weeks ago, the power went and I decided its time. Pulled the generator out; started right up; plugged in the cable; flipped the circuits; and we were back in business.
I'm pretty happy so far. Only run under a light load, but was very stable and less noisy than my other generator from a different brand. I appreciate the voltage and frequency meters that the other doesn't have either. Easy to pull start. Hopefully under heavy load with a power outage it will cruise along too.
