this is my 3rd Westinghouse gen I used my small 5300 for job site very dependable. and don't break you out buying gas. I bought the 7500 for home use only when it was 30 below out afraid power would go out so it's there just in case. overall, very happy with these units and ball bearing wheels a definite plus... highly recommend.
Thankfully I haven't had the need to use, hopefully never will. But so far I am pretty happy with this unit. Since I purchased it, two of my friends have purchased the same one and have used it, both are pretty happy with it, this is what I figure I would write the review based on their experience. It is a bit loud, but nothing worse than any other generator.
I was worried that due to weight of generator that I would not be able to assembly how wrong I was within 15 minutes all assembled. Filled the oil and gas, connected battery cable, and pushed the start button and started right up. This generator will meet the needs to power the whole house to include stove . and I like the wifi start best ever purcase
I bought this 4 days ago after having an extended power outage and my power cell generator wasn't sufficient enough. Between me and my in-laws across the street we had to borrow a couple of generators. After receiving the WGen7500 a couple of hours ago, I was able to set it up and it fired on the first try just pushing the button. No more shoulder lock from pulling the power cord on the first borrowed on. I even shut it off and went upstairs to show my wife how easy it was to start by using the remote fob. She was quite impressed. Hopefully I won't need to use this soon, but I am confident that it will need our needs no matter how long a power outage lasts.
