WGen 5300cv portable gas generator

bought this generator to run our camper when the power goes out, and to run a few appliances also. finished the break in procedure, plugged the camper up to the generator, and it performed perfect. all the controls, plug ins, fueling, and oil change is so easy compared to my old generac generator. i am extremely satisfied with the westinghouse generator. all five star reviews, and highly recommended by hundreds of people. very well built, all the plug ins are very easy to use and understand. way better than my old generac generator.

Just received this unit fairly easy to assemble. Started right up and built solid. My only comment is the funnel that comes with it could be a bit longer as its challenging to get the oil into the unit but not a deal breaker by any means.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compact, not too noisy, lots of useful features

Received this today. Not a scratch on the box. Very little 'assembly' required. Filled with oil, plugged in the battery, and the motor fired up instantly. The choke lever is a little hard to get fingers on. Battery had plenty of 'factory' charge to start easily. Engine ran great. I powered an air compressor as a test and the engine sound hardly changed. Gauge to see Volts, Frequency, and Hours is wonderful. This model looks like a real winner!

Nice Westinghouse Generator

Just purchased the Westinghouse WGen5300sc generator for backup power for some vital circuits (heat, water etc) for the house. Assembly was super easy: just add mounting feet, wheels, hook up battery, oil and gas. Started right up and ran fine. Plugged it into my transfer switch and all worked like it should. Super happy so far!
