Very optimistic

I bought this on Dec. 7, and it arrived at my door on Dec. 13. Generator had no damage, all items were present. Easy setup, simple instructions. I ran it for 30 minutes today to make sure all was well. I am very pleased. I have not put it to good use, but I am very happy so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

All the Features Needed

This is my 2nd Westinghouse generator. Had to step up to a 120/240 unit for my well booster pump. 1st unit has been great and I expect nothing less from the new unit. I would recommend these generators to anyone interested.

Easy power

I bought the WGEN 5300s online, I am glad I did.It fired up and worked perfectly right out of the box.
It was easy to hook up to my home panel using a separately bought transfer switch, it plugs right into the L14-30 receptacle you just have to remove the neutral bonding jumper under the alternator cover to change it from bonded to floating neutral. The user manual explains this modification.
Now when the power goes out we can run our furnice, water heater, freezer and entertainment center.
