Great generator, low price

I bought this generator to rapid charge my solar system batteries in the unlikely event that the grid is down, there is no sun and my battery bank is depleted. I specifically appreciate the power output (just over 5kW), the electric start and the reasonable noise level. After unboxing and loading oil and gas, the generator fired right up with no issues. The design is very clean, full featured and reasonably portable with large wheels. If you don’t need an inverter generator, I’d highly recommend this one. I also own a Westinghouse inverter generator that we take camping and have been very happy with that unit for several years now.

More power than I need

I bought this as it was similar to my neighbor's, who let me use his during the mass pwoer outages on April 29th. This one has more wattage, but for the proce, that is a good thing. I just wanted to keep my food cold in the refrigerator. It is assuring I can do much more!

Westinghouse Portable Generator

The generator is perfect for my needs. I'm able to power my refrigerator and freezer in case of power outage. Some assembly was required but the instructions were clear and easy to follow.
