Perfect for all my power generation emergencies!

Set up and operation took just a few minutes and was easy. Once oiled and gassed, the generator started up on the first pull--impressive! I loaded the generator with about 3,000 watts of lighting and it didn't appear to be loaded at all. I'm very pleased and would recommend this generator to anyone needing power generation equipment for use on a farm or any type of emergency. Love it!

Disappointing

I bought this in the summer for this winter to assure that my animals and children including a baby would be kept warm and safe this winter when we loose power. We were extremely disappointed when we discovered that within a minute or less of being started it shuts off. Neighbors tried to help but to no avail, even someone who is good with small engine repairs tried to get it started. They suspect there may be an issue with the carburetor. This is brand new and with all the great reviews we are disappointed to be sitting here without power.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Exactly what we need

Easy to set up, and our test run went perfectly. We needed something to take the edge off the occasional 1-3 day outages we have in our town every so often, and this fits the bill.

I am a 65 year old petite woman and had no problem installing the wheels on this generator. It started on the first try. Love the remote start!
