I purchased the 5300sc after power outages this winter. It has great features including the 220V I need to power most of the appliances in my house, The electric starter makes using it very easy.

easy start

I like the generator my only problem is that if you have a switch that you have to choose between 120 volts and 240 volts is if you choose 120 volts you can't use the 240 volt at the same time. you can use one or the other.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
