I am not happy recoil cord was not working it was just shoved in the hole no tension to manual start engine in event battery dead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not happy. Started up no problem but only runs for 13 seconds, then shuts off.

I bought this generator 02/2026 stop working in 05/2026. Was ask by Westinghouse to take to one of there certified repair shop for 4mths still wasn't working then finally replaced 09/2026. The process to repair or replace when you have a warranty was entirely hectic and very slow

Just Purchased!

Just purchased WGen5300sc Generator. I installed the mounting feet and wheels. Added the engine oil, put gas in the tank, connected the battery for the electric starter. In the first try the generator fired right up. Hopefully, I won't have any future problems 🤞

I bought this last week to prepare for power outages this winter and I feel so much better knowing I have it to depend on especially with this super El Nino coming our way.
