Got it three months ago. Had power go out for 18 hours last week due to a storm. Easy set up and gave us reliable power for the fridge and few other items during the outage.
I just bought this, so haven't had to use it yet. It started right up by battery and also pull starting. Runs well ! Since it is a floating neutral system, I am going to use it with a transfer kit so it will have a bonded neutral for my appliances.
I bout this a month ago for my elderly parents. My father being on oxygen will run out quickly when the power is out. I picked this one for the electric starter that my mother could easley start. Shipping was hard on it. The pull rope starter was smashed and had to be straightened and so did the end cap of the generator. At first the starter was a direct short and didn't work. It was a bad connection at the starter. After those things were addressed it starts great and powers all the things they need. The engine runs very smooth and dos not serge. Over all I am happy with it and am going to buy a second one for my mother in law.
I received it today and i love the way it is designed. It started on the first try. Set the unit to 120v. I install an extension cord in the house and powered my refrigerator, my microwave and my coffee maker. Work very well
We bought this last year and just last weekend finally opened the box and had a relative with more knowledge than us show us how to use it. We were afraid of doing it wrong and causing problems. It was surprisingly easy to use for us, and we are not comfortable with technology. Now we are prepared for the many outages at our cabin in the mountains
