initial start up instructions are great! In 15 minutes the generator was running started right up and is very quiet

Good price, right features

I liked everything about it EXCEPT the engine cover was dented even though there did not appear to be any damage to the box or packaging

Purchased this month to be prepared

I purchased the 5300c because of the push and remote start. When I tried it out to make sure it worked ok and it started on 2nd pull. Then tried the push start and it started immediately. Took 1 star off because I bought one earlier in the month and it was heavily damaged on delivery to my home so it had to be returned.
I would recommend this to a friend!
