Portable generator for average home use

Our new Westinghouse portable generator arrived on time, as scheduled. The generator is complete with out damage. All pertinent paperwork is with the generator, including a simple but thorough User Manual, including a maintenance guide. Tools, a funnel and a quart of 4-stroke engine oil are included. I haven't powered it up yet but given Westinghouse reputation I am confident this will be fine. I'm happy with the generator!

After adding oil, connecting the battery, adding fuel, opening the fuel valve and setting the choke the generator started within 3 seconds. Awesome!

Didn't take me long to fix wheels to frame,fill with oil,put in gas let my wife hit the starter it fired right just waiting for the next big snow storm!

After hours and hours of research, I pulled the trigger on the WGen5300sc.
Packaging was great, easy to set up, and runs great! Ran the camper for an hour, fired everything up, including the AC, and it didn't even increase the idle. Bought to power my home as we lose power more lately, but am positive it will be up to the task.

We purchased this as a replacement for our 20+ plus years old. The instructions were clear and concise. I love the electric start. Would like additional 110 outlets but I will call an electrician to wire a plug to my panel to cover the necessary items when the power goes out.

Dependable power, easy to start and run

Used this generator for a few days after Hurricane Milton. Powered our refrigerator, freezer and our home entertainment system no problem, and no doubt could have handled much more. Very good value.
