Works great!

We purchased the Westinghouse 6600/5300 portable generator in December and just had an electrician install a generator transfer power breaker and an input connection today. He tested the generator (which started on the first push of a button) and it worked beautifully to provide back up power as we had hoped.

Better than expected

We finally said goodbye to our old genny. Gas powered, pull cord, can’t prime it, serviced 3x, we were ready for an upgrade. We chose this model and couldn’t be happier. I no longer throw out my shoulder trying to start it!

Great generator

I bought this back in October when Southwest Virginia was hit with hurricane weather, but it took over two weeks to get it (thanks Fedex) so the power was back on and I didn't have a chance to use it. Finally had to use it in the middle of February due to winter storms. We hooked up the refrigerator and two heaters to it and it ran perfect. The build quality is great, though I did receive it beat up like it owed someone money (as always, thanks Fedex). Overall I'm impressed with it so far, and hopefully it will last many, many years.

Been looking for a generator for a while now. Westinghouse has a great reputation so I went with the Wgen5300. Works great and am very happy.
