Great Generator

I received this Generator 2 days after ordering it. It was packed extremely well for shipping. The only things that needed done after it was unpacked was put on the wheels, add oil, plug in the battery and fill the gas tank. After that it fired right up. i would recommend this generator. it is a high quality product.

Very nice generator for the price paid

I bought this generator to replace one that died on me. This generator got very high reviews and I decided to give it a try. I am very happy with it. Very easy to get set up, and started up on first try. It looks like it will give me many years of great service....I am glad I got it....cant wait until the first power outage to really give it a good test.

Excellent tool - great price

I purchased the generator last month to power my farm water system. I use the 30amp 240volt outlet to drive a shallow water pump. It was easy to assemble, came complete and in perfect condition, and worked perfectly. I would recomend this tool to anyone I know.

Rolling Blackouts

Gets the job done! No damage on arrival. Needed for the basics fridge and tv no problem. Being in Southern California wild fires and black outs becoming everyday this w5300v has been up to the task. Sound is tame comes with the basics wheels and oil. Thank you!

Nice generator for small home emergency backup

I purchased this generator to use for emergency backup of essential circuits in my home. I have a small 1,500SF home and this 5300 watt unit is the perfect size to run my refrigerator, boiler, computer equipment and verizon router, some kitchen appliances and a few lights. I chose it for watt capacity and weight/size. It has a smaller engine than other models and weighs a little over 100 Lbs which is no problem to transport from the garage to a spot in the yard. To have an easy to use backup system, I also installed a Reliance transfer switch (also purchased on Amazon).
The unit was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. After installing the wheels and feet, reading the operating manual and putting in some gas and oil, it started right up with the electric start. I've done a pull-the-plug test in my home and everything worked perfectly. I'm ready for another power outage if it comes along.
The one negative comment I have is very minor; the graphic on start switch is is mis-labeled - easy enough to deal with.
I would definitely recommend this product for someone with a small home and only a few home appliances to run in an emergency.
