It works.

The cap on the motor, where the pulling cord is was bent during shipping. But other than that it starts and it works. My only concern is that the engine seems to stutter during the run, but the voltage output remains steady. I hope it is nothing serious.

I purchased the 5300s based on favorable reviews, and they were correct. Easy starting, plenty of power, and quiet enough for my application as a home back up. Great value.
