Solid Generator - Easy to hook up

This was purchased a couple of months ago. Settled on this after many positive reviews. Easy to set up, good instructions in the manual as well as many stickers on the generator. Started up with ease and supplied power as we tested it with the electrician.

Cool generator

I bought this because I am recent transplant to Florida and was unprepared for a hurricane caused extended power outage. I have not used this generator much yet but I did unbox it and get it all setup. It was all a snap. Minor assembly of attaching the wheel kit and stops and adding oil. It has electric start which is a real plus and it cranked right up on first try. I'm actually looking forward to our next power outage!

Dependable Generator

I purchased this generator to keep the lights on and protect 2 freezers and a refrigerator in case of power failure. I am able run the lights and equipment in my workshop, too. I replaced a 25 year old generator that was used intermittently but was hard to crank and was no longer dependable.
I love this Westinghouse 5300. 2 pulls on the starter and it is up and running. It is so much quieter that I run it on the far side of my house and the neighbors can barely hear it. The other generator was extremely loud and I had to construct a baffle to keep it from annoying the whole neighborhood. Another thing I like about it is that if I run out of gas I can keep it running on the LP tanks I have for grilling and my camper. I look forward to getting many years of use from this new generator.

Reliable, easy to start and move around!

I bought this ad an early Christmas gift for my husband fir his deer lease. February 14 a major winter storm hit Texas. Outsourcing power was turn of and back on every few others for 2 days. This generator was so easy to move in and out of our house fir use. Started right up each time with the touch of a button. It was really noisy at all either.
