So easy, really

We are a retired couple who just set up our gen which went smoothly and quickly. Arrived via truck in perfect order, all parts were present. We really liked the fact that the battery for electric start is included and they even provided the proper amount of oil to fill gen for first time. Not only are paper instructions easy to follow but they are also printed directly on the gen itself. They even provided the tools to install feet along with sparkplug tool for eventual replacement. Handle for movement is already installed on gen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am sooo excited about this Westinghouse WGEN5300V generator purchase. I bought a home here in Florida a few years back and fortunately there have been no serious hurricanes (power outages). If and when they come and I am ready! This generator is a perfect size for mobility by a mere female. I hope I never have to use it!

Great Generator for RV and Emergency Backup

Everything needed was included in the box. In less than 30 minutes I had the generator unpacked, wheels and feet installed, oil filled (supplied), filled with fuel and had it purring away. I let it run for about 15 minutes before I put it underload for the very first time. I connected our RV to the 30 amp outlet (TT-30R 120V 30A) and powered up the all the RV lights, fridge, electric water heater etc and then the air-conditioner and it worked great. I could hardly hear the generator once the AC was running. I went outside and was very happy with the noise level emitted by generator with basically everything electrical in the RV powered up and the AC running on max. It was much lighter than I expected and very easy to move about, however I would caution you to only pull the generator behind you don't try to push it with the handle or it may end up flopped over on its back (don't ask me how I know this :D ).
