The iGen4500 is advertised as 97 lbs as shipping weight but outside the box, it weighs 110 pounds. How can this be? Can anyone tell where this extra weight comes from? It has no oil or gas yet!

Looked at Honda's, and Yamaha's. The igen4500 is at least as quiet as they are has better fuel capacity comes with wheels and remote start. It is a fantastic deal.

Great So Far

Just bought & after adding gas, oil I got it to work on first try. After an hour I tried again and it would not start. After many tries I finally decided to plug in the battery recharge cord and left it over night. Low & behold.... next morning it started up just great. Still need to try it on my travel trailer to see if it will run the AC and it the plug will allow me to plug in the trailer (had read problems w/this). So its a 4 star rateing until I do the live test this weekend.

Great generator as long as it starts! Once you get the unit running, it works great and powers an rv with no issue. Runs quite and the remote start/stop is a nice feature. Waiting for a response from Westinghouse on what to do about the starting issue.
