The generator ended up being larger than we expected. However, the wheels make it easy to move/use. Very quiet, and runs everything we need it to run. So impressed with how quiet it is. The #1 reason we wanted this Generator. We were not disappointed.
Minor box damage but unit itself in perfect condition. Would not start with electric start button, even after charging battery. We did mess with the automatic choke lever as talked about in a lot of reviews and then were able to get it started via the manual pull after a number of tries. Once it ran for about 10 minutes, we were able to turn it off and now have started it multiple times with the electric start with no problems-so it seems to be fine after the initial start up. It is very quiet, but we haven't actually used it yet to comment on it's full functioning. I'm looking forward the camping next weekend to see how it does!
I am using this generator as backup power for the home. No hurricanes this year but I have had two days without power due to construction to test it out. I have been able to run a 13K BTU portable air conditioner, refrigerator, computer, and wifi/ networking equipment. The unit started with the battery very easily. My wife had difficulty with the pull start but was able to get the generator started with that method as well. The guages are very easy to read. I would like for it to have some measure of total running time to easier schedule maintenance.
Use this to power my travel trailer. Runs the AC with no problem. Remote start is priceless. The information display is awesome. It shows fuel level, voltage, total running hours, remaining run time.
I bought this unit because my father got one and has had it with zero issues and it runs his 30ft rv with no problems at all and quiet enough that you can't even hear it in the trailer at night. They have changed the the face of the unit though and added a power switch that lights up for the battery, I'm guessing for saftey reasons so you don't accidentally start it with the remote. To me that honestly makes the whole electric and remote start kind of useless so I wish I found one of their older units before they added the switch. I guess you could leave it on but if you forget it on for two long that light will eventually fully drain the battery.
