Put in oil, started right up

I'm excited to use this generator for the first time. It started right up after I put the oil in it. The manual was very easy to understand and it seems to come with all of the tools I will need for ongoing maintenance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

iGen2500 Review date 2018-11-6 Ownership = less than 1 month Use:Emergency power , Camping , Road Trips, Yard tools - 18 cu ft refrigerator, router, modem, 55" LED TV, LED Lamps/lights, 1000 Watt Microwave, coffee grinder, Cell Phone charger, Laptop Charger, misc.small Amp/Watt use devices Power consumption average 160 Watts without TV - 240 Watts with TV active Power consumption average 1300 Watts with all + TV, Microwave Generator Essentially idles with aforementioned items active unless Microwave added, then , generator increase to 59% capacity during Microwave activity Fuel consumption : marginal at my levels , approximately 16+ hours continuous use 1 gallon Dependability / Reliability : Less than 1 month ownership Easy to start ( elevation of use = 4500 feet above sea level ; haven't experienced winter yet ) Easy to store ( bottom shelf in garage ) Easy maintenance Decibels : RPM 25% or less - low at 10-25+ feet RPM 50% or greater - increased at 10-25 feet

quiet generator

Would have given it a five except LED data center didn't work. Everything else was fine. Removed front cover and found the LED data center wasn't plugged in. Plugged it in and everything is working fine.

Super quiet, Remote start is heaven!

I uncrated the generator, read the instructions, filled it with oil and gas, hit the button and it started right up. I was amazed at the low noise level. I loaded it in the back of my Honda SxS and went to work with saws, fans,etc. I bought this unit after hours of research to run my two AC units on our camper for remote camping. It preformed flawlessly with both units running. I cannot stress how happy I am with the overall design and the quietness. Great machine I would recommend to anyone. Remote start/stop is the only way to go. Keeps you out of the weather.

Great product

I went back and forth between this generator and a comparable Honda and Yamaha. I decided on this because of the price and the perceived quality. There was an issue during initial start up that happened during shipping, but I had it resolved with the help of tech support in just a few moments.
I would recommend this to a friend!
