We bought the iGen4500 for a cross country trip. It traveled 4800 miles on a hitch haul wrapped in a tarp and still works perfectly. We use dispersed camping so we let the generator run all night and had no problems. Since that trip we've used several times closer to home. It allows us to keep warm in our tent and even run a 4k smart TV with plenty of power to spare. I will mention though that a high altitude kit MUST be bought if you're headed to the mountains. We camped at 10,000 feet and were glad we prepared.
I bought this as a replacement for another generator that was stolen. The other one was so loud I almost hated to use it since it disturbed other campers. This unit is extremely quiet. I have not used it with my RV yet, but look forward to being able to use it without disturbing everyone else.
I purchased this to power an Espresso Trailer. I am going to add a high altitude kit because I'm having a little trouble starting it occasionally. But it runs it very smoothly and quietly and meet my power requirements.
Unit is very quiet and provides plenty of power for my new travel trailer. I just received the unit and am working through an issue with the remote start / stop. Manual has several discrepancies.
