nice unit

I recently purchased the generator. After the quick set up, I started the unit up and ran it for 30 minutes. There were no problems. The features are easy to use. I like the look, telescopic handle, and remote startup. Then I ran the generator under load of various appliances of 120v. Also, the 30amp receptacle for the RV performed well. I am looking forward to using it for seasonal camping.

Our Toy trailer generator went out after 20 years. Bought this to use when remote camping. Very easy to set up and started easily, and very quiet. Will love the remote starter on cold days! Easy to roll with the pull out handle, even wife can move it around.

Running good!

Have only had it running for a few hrs, and so far so good. Started up well within a few pulls. Trying it out on refrigerator and freezer, along with a few lights. Nice and quite and appears to be well built (except for the access cover's locking mechanism - not a big deal but appear cheesy). I plan on changing the oil after 10 or so hours with higher-quality oil than came with it.

Bought this as a backup to run a mobile audio testing unit. It is wonderfully quiet, even running at full capacity with the eco switch off. The lit power meter on the front is actually quite useful in making sure the generator isn't being overloaded. Well constructed overall, and the case is sealed nicely. My only concern so far is the battery access cover is a bit too small and makes connecting/disconnecting or replacing the battery a tricky maneuver.

A Great Buy!

Delivered on time and in excellent condition. Had it out of the box went to the quick start guide and added the oil and fuel. Used the remote start. Started on the second try. I let the engine warm up for 5 mins. and plugged in my 30amp cord to my travel trailer. Tested the a/c, frig. and lights. Just returned from a 2 day trip and no problems running the generator. Only used one tank of gas for the 2 days in the Keys. Great price!

Added oil, non ethanol gas, connected battery leads, and unit fired right up using remote control. Ran for 1 hour under no load, ran 11,000 BTU ac unit on RV for 10 hours, then ran on no load until fuel ran out for break in. Changed oil and now ready for service when needed. Very quiet and starts and stops on remote with no problem. I hate writing reviews on a brand new product with very little time but so far so good. My Honda 2000 is 18 years old and still running great. Time will tell how these Westinghouse units hold up. So far very pleased with quality and performance of this generator.

Has all the options needed in emergency situations

We wanted a powerful generator and portable. The many options on this unit, the easy operation and dbl is exactly what we wanted. The extra bells and wistles awesome to have available too. Great unit!
