VERY QUIET GENERATOR

ONE OF THE MAIN FEATURES I WAS LOOKING FOR IN A GENERATOR WAS THE SOUND LEVEL. THIS GENERATOR IS VERY QUIET COMPARED TO SOME THAT I HAVE HEARD. THIS GENERATOR SEVERAL FEATURES THAT I LIKE ALSO.

Generator is exactly as stated, quiet and started right up out of the box. The push button start and remote key fob are excellent. Will be trying it out on a camping trip with my RV soon.

I did alot of research on generators and inverter generators. This was the best i thought of all on the market. Super quiet, can have a normal conversation with someone standing right next to it!
Super powerful, and easy to move.

A great track day generator!

I've just bought the iGen4500 and it is now my 4th Westinghouse generator (I've had a WH2400i and I still have a pair of iGen2500's) and I've been very pleased with them all. The only complaint I've had with the smaller generators (which I run in parallel) is that they don't hold enough fuel so I have to refuel them 2 or 3 times during a track day which is very inconvenient.
I tried adding an extended run generator and that went really well until the hot summer days came along and vapor lock set in. So, I finally gave up and decided to just buy an iGen4500 with its much larger tank which I'm hoping will allow me to get through a track day without refueling.

Great item so far

Just received my iGen from Estes Freight delivery, Slight damage to packing box but no apparent damage to product. Ground snow covered so I can't do a test run. One option does not work as anticipated. I planned to use remote start in morning while camping and stay out of cool weather, however user guide says not to start gen with anything plugged in. If I have to go out side to unplug I may s well just use starter on the generator. Will post operation review when ground dries up.

Best value for the features and power

After months of research, including a spreadsheet, the Westinghouse igen4500 became my first choice. Obviously, the 4500 watts in an inverter generator is a huge selling point for everyone. It is for me too, but what really separates this unit from the competition is the QUIET 52dB operating volume. I really have issues with loud noises, so this sold me the most. I say the most because there are so many other great things this unit has that make the competition look bad. Remote start, gas gauge, very high end control panel, very efficient operation, telescoping handle, etc...
As soon as this generator went on sale I grabbed mine. I’ve only set it up and run it for a few minutes so far, but everything works great and sounds Quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!
