IGEN 4500

Bought the IGen 4500 just a few days ago. The generator was well packaged and came with all items needed to place it into service.
Overall construction is solid and the generator is equipped with a built in handle making it ease to move. The generator is extremely quite compared to my previous model and is rated to run approximately 6 hours long on the same amount of fuel. The generator is equipped with easy to read gage that cycles through the, fuel level, run time, remaining runtime, and power output.

Quiet, compact and portable

I was concerned that the noise from any generator would bother my neighbors, but this generator is so quiet it won't disturb anyone (quieter than a distant-sounding lawn mower). I hooked up a 12,000 BTU portable air conditioner and then tried an 1,100 watt microwave, and this generator handled them each with no problem. Even though it weighs about 100 pounds, the wheels and handle make it easy to move around. It also isn't too large, which is nice for storage in my garage. The remote on/off feature is nice and the unit starts up easily with it.
I live in Northern California where PG&E now shuts off power temporarily when there is a threat of fires during red flag conditions. It's good to be prepared now, in case that happens in my neighborhood in the future. I am pleased with my purchase and have already recommended this generator to others.

Tough little generator

Delivery guy unloaded the box and brought it to my door, upside down. Unboxed it, and there was no damage. Went through the setup procedures, and the little gen fired right up and has been running great - powering a horse trailer living quarters with no issues. The little guy is extremely quiet, and has been quite miserly on using gas. I would definitely recommend this generator.

Dual Generator IGen 4500

This product meets our needs and love that its dual power and QUIET. We don't have to buy 2 generators to get the easy to stowe and have enough power to run our 5th wheel.
