Perfect match for my rv needs

I have been looking for a generator to power our 38 foot 5th wheel for off grid camping. After a lot of research and reading reviews we decided on the Westinghouse IGen 4500. We ordered on 8/11/2020 and it arrived today 8/19/2020. The box was beat up a little during shipment but the generator was well packed and had no issues. After reading the instruction manual I connected the battery, added the supplied oil and filled the fuel tank with gas. After a few attempts to start it with the electric start it fired right up. I initially plugged in a heat gun and everything worked as it should. I then plugged in our camper to the 30 amp receptical and gave the machine the real test. It had no problem running the AC, refrigerator and microwave with plenty of power left over. The amazing part is just how quiet this thing is. It has certainly beat my expectations and we look forward to many omg the grid camping trips in the near future...Bottom line, this is a great generator with plenty of power.

Nice Quiet Generator

I bought this on 08/06/20 and received it on the 12th. Manual is pretty good except that it does not address the little button in digital meter to change selections but I figured it out. Also the manual needs to be updated to show that it has total run time as one of the selections. There was a card in the packet with the manual that says you get a free cover if you leave a review but when you go to the web site listed on the card it has no place to rate anything. That was kind of disappointing. Got everything up and running and will be using it in the near future. Will provide another review at a later date to provide information on how it performs. I do live at 2600ft elevation and will probably need to purchase the high altitude kit but am not sure where I can find it.

Great Unit

Just picked it up. Easy to set up and get ready to run. Fired up with a push of button, then checked remote and it works as advertised. Seems like a great unit at a great price

Very Impressed So Far

I bought this for a quiet generator alternative to a Honda. I am super impressed so far. It started right up after filling the oil and gas. Very quiet, even with the eco mode turned off. I haven't had a load on it yet, but i don't imagine it will get any worse.
