I have been very please with my IGen 4500 I use for RV'ing and occasionally for around the house honey due projects.. I love the reliability to just pull or remote start w/ no issues. I would recommend this product
We used this Westinghouse Gen 4500 out the desert and hook up to the 28 foot trailer. This generator was super quiet and ran it for a good solid 6 to 8 hours. We love it
I just bought this generator only have a couple hours on it but so far so good got it for my R.V. it will run my 13500 btu air conditioner and microwave at the same time impressive
This generator came in yesterday and I in boxed it packaging was great everything that was supposed to be in the box was in the box. Took literally 5 min to hook up the battery and to put the oil in the machine. Fired up on the first push of the button. Great running machine and super quiet for such of a monster it is
I purchased this generator as a back-up for our house here in CA and for portable power with our 5th trailer when there is no shore power available. We are having quite a few potential power outages with the numerous wildfires here this year along with "rolling blackouts" when demand gets too high. Now. I dont have to worry about our 2 freezers and 2 refrigerators continuing to run and possibly having spoiling food. I just open our house main breaker and plug in a double male plug end 30A extension cord to the trailer recepticle on my workshop and I can power the house with 3700 running watts of power. That's plenty to power all of the critical devices whenever it's needed. It is about 100 lbs. so really, it's portable enough to take camping with our 5th wheel and will power all of the essential stuff AND one of my air conditioners with no problem It is fairly quiet at about 62-65db under load and even queiter when it's in the "efficiency" mode. It is a little pricey but for the quality and dependability that it provides it is well worth the money and being an "inverter" type generator, it is safe to use with your delicate electronics. This unit even has a couple of USB charging ports on the control panel to charge or power your portable devices. It also features 4500 peak watts, electric/remote starting, and everything that you'll need to put it work (except for gasoline of course) right out of the box. If you're looking for a multi-purpose inverter geneator this is the unit that you'll want.
I bought a few weeks ago. Added oil, gas, connected battery and it started right up. Push button start and remote works great. Let run for two hours and changed oil. Location of oil drain bolt could use a little redesign maybe reroute that wire in front of the drain plug. Some oil stays on the plastic bottom . Louder than thought it would be but quiet. Runs single unit AC , refrigerator and microwave on RV with no issues. So if it lasts that's all I want.
Received my igen4500 several days ago, product was packaged well and everything needed to start was included except gas of course. Instructions on startup was clear and easy. Generator seems to be constructed well and I love the handle, wheels, and especially the remote. The generator started on the second try, understandable because the carb had to fill with fuel. I was surprised at how quite this generator is. I definitely hope to get good service from this machine because I am impressed so far.
