iGen4500 Out Of The Box

Bought this earlier this week and started the recommended break-in period this evening. Easy to prepare to run, easy to change the oil. Started 1st pull. Remote worked 1st try from 25 feet. Push button start worked as advertised.
Oil change at 1 hour of only normal idle/no load; had some noticeable silver metal shavings. I will run a second hour at idle, then 30 minutes under the load of Travel Trailer's AC and change the oil again and be ready for the summer travels..
I would recommend this to a friend!

So happy with the electric start . . .

The pull cords on previous generators were too stiff for my wife to start. If I wasn't home and the power went out, it couldn't be used. Now with the electric start, I don't have to worry. Also, love the drip tray around the gas fill spout. Can't seem to dump in gas without spilling a little bit and this really helps with the clean-up.

Great features, size and power

Very happy with my new iGen4500. Unpacked, added oil and gas, pushed the button and it started right up. Love the remote start feature and the LED data center. Very handle. Just the right size and easy to move around.

Good out of box expierence

Immediate start up. Unit is MUCH lighter and easier to manage than our Honda. Noise level? just as quiet if not quieter than the red ones

This is the second one of these I have owned. I am having a hard time finding the high altitude kit for it though. I live at 2700 feet. I will keep looking as I am sure it will probably make it run better since it will be rich at higher altitudes.
