The onboard generator on my 2004 Chevy Coachmen RV hasn't worked since I bought it a couple years ago. I looked into replacing it with another onboard but that was cost prohibitive. The mechanic at the local Onan repair recommended this stand alone model so I bought it and added a trailer hitch basket to haul it. My 30 amp plug get connected to the generator and I can run my a/c, lights, etc. just like being plugged into a shoreline. It's fairly quiet too.

It is exactly what we need for the camper and the house. Runs pretty quiet, works great to charge everything that we needed to camp with.

The generator is very well built. It ran everything in the RV with very stable power. Very quiet! Had to turn off the AC to hear it.
