I recently bought this unit to power my RV when I do not want to run the onboard RV generator. I wanted a unit that would run both air conditioners if needed. This unit fulfills that need. It runs very quiet even under load and has operated flawlessly.
I ordered this three days ago. I just put in the oil, hooked up the battery and am doing the "break in" as required. We bought it for auxiliary power for our rodeo rig. We'll see how it goes.
My first 2-3 startups of this generator were a little slow and I figured cold start, priming etc, but the 4th time it wouldnt start at all. I checked all the basic maintenance issues like oil, flooding, spark plug and then I went to google. Apparently during manufacturing, a large number of these generators have a wire that controls the automatic choke that is simply not connected, or is connected loosely and just pops out while running the first time or 2. Once the wire was reattached, the generator starts the first time and runs like a dream.
I just bought this a week ago it is what I thought it would be I have a 50amp RV. With the 30amp plug it is doing what I was expected it would do it runs one of my A/C and all the lights and the microwave. So thumps up for generator.
