I bought this after losing power from a tornado. Ran it for over 7 days with no problems. Super quiet. Ran all the essentials in my house, minus the obvious. Great buy for my first generator
This generator stopped working after 6 uses. Westinghouse will not warranty they said they googled it and I overloaded the inverter module on the generator with my 30 amp RV 15000 BTU which is on a 15 amp breaker. I did a video and shared it with them, and on start up amps only went to 27.6 for less than a second then dropped to 10.8 amps while using a 3500 watt Briggs & Stratton generator That I normally use with my RV. I also provided them with correct info from the A/C manufacture. This is what the manufacture said (The compressor will only pull locked rotor amps if the compressor is locked up, and if that were the case the compressor would pull locked rotor amps every time it tries to start. Normally when the compressor is starting it will pull 2 to 2 ½ times what the RLA state on the data sticker for the first split second and then drop back down to the running load amps it is rated at.) This is exactly what my video showed. (Sorry I'm not able to, load my video on this review. The Specifications info on website is very misleading also no wear in manual or website does it talk about or show any information on what locked rotor amps the generator is rated for, but this is the reason they will not warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought the generator after Helene hit NC. Easy to set up and operate, much quieter than I expected, and provided adequate power for what I needed. Not to heavy and small enough to reasonably store until the next storm either in Fl or NC.
