Very easy set up (I'm a widow and on my own and was concerned about being able to handle it by myself). It's pretty heavy (about 100 lbs.), but I was able to get it out of the box with only a few grunts. The directions were clearly explained for the initial set-up and it even came with the oil needed. I haven't run it yet, but am confident that it'll be exactly what I need.
Read the manual and follow instructions accordingly and this little beast will last you a lifetime. Be sure to stabilize the fuel before storage and pull the spark plug, add 1 teaspoon of oil, replace plug and pull until you feel compression resistance and leave it like that. Leave plug wire off to prevent accidental startup. I plan on purchasing another unit for my campsite. I know my stuff…go get ya one
When I first started it up it sputtered and kept stalling. I thought it was the infamous choke cable, but when I checked it was fine. Then I noticed there was a lot of gas leaking on the ground. Turns out there is a carburetor drain. Once I closed that it purred like a kitten.
Purchased the unit back in October and just got around to firing it up. The unit was delivered on the date specified. The unit is easy to maneuver but takes two to lift it. The instructions were easy to follow although the oil is a bit inconvenient to fill. Hooked up the battery, added fuel and it fired right up. The only issue is the unit wouldn't shut off; either by the On/Off switch or the remote. I'm sure it's a wire that became dislodged and will be contacting Support for help. I really like the compactness, the ability to wheel the unit around, and the low db level. I'd recommend the iGen4500 to anyone.
