Perfect For My Use

I needed a good, reliable generator for a variety of tasks from running power tools to lighting. This generator has been the perfect solution! It is big enough to handle the load but small enough to easily move around.

Generator is shipped containing some oil

I think it is a quality generator, but one thing I did not appreciate was that the amount of oil provided was more than the generator needed to start. The manual says to add that volume, yet it overflowed and created a large mess for me to deal with during the break-in. It also says in the manual that the generator is shipped without oil. Simply send the amount of oil that the generator needs for start-up so we do not have that issue.

Not good for 30 amp backup generator for shop

Took the generator out of box added the oil and gas and connected the battery. Turned the generator on and gas started leaking. Took panels off and the gas line from tank to carburetor was torn almost in half next to the gas tank. Cut bad part out and reconnected. Can not get the 30amp to feed the shop as back up power. after hooking up to the panel and locking out main power and switching to generator with all breakers of it goes straight to overload.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Power for the price

This is the backup generator for my yacht. This handles all of our power needs. It was easy to get the dock with the built in wheels and handles. It did require two hefty men to get it up onto the boat and settled into its new home.
I would recommend this to a friend!
