Just Got it…impressed with initial quality

Just unboxed the igen4500…I am very pleased with the quality. It comes with Oil, remote start dongle, tool kit and clear instructions/service interval sheet. I did do research and found this as a highly rated generator. While I am not surprised with the features, I am very pleased with how solid it is, materials and fasteners are plastic and metal BUT are quality. Electronics appear to be robust and solid. The only real concern I have are how well the wheel will hold up as they are a weird high density rubber foam material…time will tell on that. I gave this a 4/5 since I just opened it and haven’t even put oil in it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Electric start, light weight, very quiet, controls are very easy to figure out.

Great generator for the value

I have sold many brands of generators over the years including the Onan 4500 which is basically the same as this Westinghouse 4500. The Onan was a great trouble free generator so I could not pass this up for the cost of the Westinghouse versus the Onan. Put the oil and fuel into the generator and if fired right up with the remote, couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Great generator for the money

I haven't used it yet but the features are such that would only be found on more expensive generators according to my extensive research. I'm now well-prepared for any power outages.

Very quite runs great. Super happy very easy setup. When 1st starting when gas tank is empty and you need put gas in take gas cap off to start. Not a problem if tank isn't ran empty

Easy and powerful while still being quiet

I waited a few months to review because writing a review based upon unboxing is pretty useless. I am still very happy with the purchase. Runs great, starts easily (especially when I just push the button on the remote). Produces lots of power
