When I purchased the product it did not come with the item listed in the manual so I called and they were shipped to me. The plastic exterior all cracked and we were sent the pieces but due to the construction it took an experienced mechanically inclined person over 3 hours to replace. We did an oil change at the same time and 1 month later after running it roughly 14 hours it stops running. Just about 1 year to the date of original purchase. This is too much maintenance. Pros are it is very quiet when it ran and used very little gas.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unboxed the generator filled with oil and gasoline. Connected battery and tried to start. Battery was dead. Pulled hand crank and started on first try. I have used around the house and it is working great. Will change oil and get ready for some camping.
I just received the product and proceeded with the minimal assembly. Just plug the battery add oil and gas and start. It started with no issues. The user manual and other instructions are complete and easy to follow. It ran for about one hour and worked flawlessly . I am looking forward to run it under real conditions for several hours.
I just tried it out, and it is not as noisy as other generators. Easy to move because it has a long handle and tires. It has a control to turn it on, no need to pull the string.
Bought this a couple months ago. WOW!! Glad I did. This thing is a powerhouse. Runs our 18ft travel trailers ac,fridge, etc with no problem. 1/3 of the price of a Honda too.
