Bought primarily for travel trailer for occasional off grid use .Found a connector unplugged out of box ,with help from the hotline determined it is not needed for the value model( no electric start) Starts on lp decent enough with 4 to 6 pulls there is no primer/purge button on the regulator so pulls are the only way to go.The manual choke is spring loaded and does not stay out .a clothesline pin does the job.Choke is definitely required to start on LP. Easily powers the trailer including 15k air conditioner without softstart. Fairweather only needs to be protected from rain. Ducar engine
I bought this for power outages for my home a couple weeks ago. The information screen is easy to read and the unit is solid and not to heavy. The manual could not be easier to follow - since I've never used a generator before. The low noise level was another was feature I wanted, which I am also very satisfied with. Very satisfied with my purchase and with the Westinghouse brand.
This is the perfect size inverter for out 30Amp Travel Trailer. Its quiet, easy to use and the Dual Fuel capability makes it perfect for travel. This is our second Westinghouse generator, once large one for home and this for travel.
I was looking for a dual fuel generator that was powerful but also light weight and of course quiet. I looked at many videos and read many reviews... many. I had it down to three, all were as they say suitcase generators and were close in power, within 1000w. One didn't have a good read out... the next was too light (where did the weight go) but the Westinghouse had it all. Plus, I already owned a Westinghouse power washer that has been good to me for years. So, I choose Westinghouse. I wanted the dual fuel because propane is easier to store. (This is for emergences only) When I got it... checked it out. looked good... shinny as a new penny. (won't be seeing many of those soon) Put the oil in it then I hooked it up to the propane and after about six pulls... started right up and purred like a kitten. Everything worked fine, plugged a few things in to it... worked as it should. Power... quite... looks good... and only 60lbs. Oh, and a good price. Thats what I was looking for....
