Great for RV Travel Trailer

I just bought this and used it to power everything in my 15 ft travel trailer, including 13.5K BTU A/C unit! Great for off-grid boodocking!

I have only ran it through the break-in period so far. It was nice that it fired right up on gas. One thing I appreciate with the design is that the propane connection is not utilizing special plugins or switches in addition to the propane connection. The propane hose is also easier to remove the regulator so you can connect it to your RVs on board propane connection easier than other brands. I opted for the non-electric start as I did not want to have to remember to keep the battery charged in order for it to work. I hope to not use this very often.

Panel is easy to understand what is required of consumer during operation. Met my expectations. Very portable, I like the pull out transporting handle. Somewhat a little heavy or bulky so I am glad it is on wheels, nice feature.

We bought this for a weekend of boon-docking with our 26' camper trailer.
The iGen4000c performed flawlessly and powered all of the camper equipment including the air conditioner and microwave at the same time.
My wife and I are 2 very Happy Campers!

Bought this 4000 W generator as we replacement for My HF 3500 W generator that didn’t start.
Pros.
Like the fact that it came pre-wired with remote start and an onboard storage compartment for that remote.
It came with a power supply that you plug into a wall to trickle charge the battery when not use.
The weight and overall size of the Generator is about half of my previous generator.
Con’s.
Wouldn’t power my RV AC like the HF Predator 3509 would. I ended up talking to tech-support and they said I would need a soft start kit. Did some online research and decided to go with a capacitor instead of a starter kit. Once I have that installed, it would run my AC out about 50% load. So I gained experience points through that process, But I kinda wish I didn’t have to go through it.
Only holds 1.6 gallons of gas. A little on the small side of my opinion, but we’ll see how that works out. On the side of that, it divides the gas into a 5 gallon gas can keep the generator down.
I think I’ll be happy with it, it may just take a minute.

We purchased this generator to use for off-grid camping. It starts easily, and it adequately powers our camp trailer. Also, we have had some unexpected powers outages at our residence, and this generator has been used to power appliances during the outages. We are very happy with our purchase.
