Based on older reviews, earlier iterations of the iGen4000/4500 seem to have had issues with the cable connecting the choke to the back of the control panel shaking loose during transport as well as the oil fill hole being very difficult to access behind the blue plastic casing. I didn't have a problem with the cable being disconnected and they've redesigned the access on the iGen4000 making oil changes a breeze. First, the side panels can be popped off without requiring a screw driver and the oil fill hole is unobstructed. It now has a little spout and dish for catching small spills and the generator comes with a flexible funnel that screws directly into the oil fill hole. Filling and draining are no longer such a mess.
I bought this generator in large part because of the dual fuel option and have so far only tried running it on propane. It started up easily using the instructions in the user manual, powers what I need it to, it's not too loud, not too heavy for one person to manage, and it's really easy to maneuver with the wheels. All in all I'm satisfied with my choice and would recommend the generator.
Easy to use, easy to move around, love the toe kick handle. Running propane only, always starts 2nd or 3rd try. Easy to change oil if you have steps nearby. Haven't had any issues spilling any with the included screw in funnel. A+
I certainly made the right choice on this purchase

I have 6 circuits on my transfer switch I was breaking in the inverter on 3 circuits and what was an almost empty propane tank. It ran for almost 2hrs and was very quiet. Couldn’t be happier with this inverter
I haven't ever seen a finer engineered device with the user and maintenance as priority. Any and all necessary access points are located for ease of use. Shipment includes everything (except fuel) necessary for a smooth and quick start up, The owners manual also focused on novice understanding. The engineering department deserves more than 5 stars.
Runs well, pretty quiet, and I like that I can run from propane tanks and not have to worry about leaving gas in the tank. It was a little hard starting in the beginning, I assume from purging air in the propane lines, but once that was done, rans very well.
