Impressive

After a great deal of research I decided on this generator due to its great reviews, low decibel level, and high wattage to cost ratio. It arrived today and I followed the instructions on adding oil, connecting battery, and making the necessary connection to the propane tank. The unit cranked on first push of the remote and I ran three different accessories at various wattage to test output. This generator is very quiet for its size and it seems the noise level does not significantly increase when I increase load (which changes RPM in ECO mode). Overall at this point I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Waited months and months for this! There is nothing else like it on the market so I decided to just wait. Wow, everything works fantastic and it is SOOOO QUIET!! I will be using mine exclusively on propane. The keyfob remote starts it right up, the power meter scans thru all the data to keep you informed of it's performance, it's easy to move around with the "suit case handle" that pulls out. As long as it holds up under normal and well cared for use this will be a true winner! I am wondering...
-There is gas smell in the tank from factory test? Should I keep a small amount of gas in there with Stabil additive or something so it doesn't clog? I was hoping it would be clean and I would just never add gas.
-Also, does anyone know of a way to monitor battery voltage and have it start and stop the gen? If I could figure something to work the keyfob automatically that would do it.

This was the easiest new equipment start up ever. Opened the box, took it out. Hooked up the battery per the very good instructions, and added the oil. Connected it to the propane tank and pushed the start button on the remote FOB. It started right up on the first try. Wow this was so easy.
I did a lot of research and comparing, read hundreds of reviews. This was a great decision.

I will be using this for my RV and for power outages at home. I purchased a cargo carrier with a ramp, so I can roll this generator on to it, never having to lift it. The extending handle on this generator makes it VERY easy.

Great value! Excellent features for the price

I purchased an iGen4500df last month and after unboxing, realized the starter had broken apart from engine. Returned item, reordered and received new unit in two days. Used the following weekend and worked without a hiccup. After unboxing, connected battery, filled with the provided oil, gassed it up and it started first push of the starter button. Although initial unit had problems, I would definitely recommend this product due to the features you get in this price range.
