After a resent storm that left us without power for 3 days we started looking for a generator. With Covid our kids are home for school and we needed power so they wouldn't miss any. This should fit our needs perfectly. Since we were going to be running computer equipment we went with an inverter (better on sensitive equipment). We are able to run both our refrigerators and several other circuits to give us lights and internet. Love that it comes with a small tool kit, oil and funnel.

Easy to use and efficient

I bought this for my 850 sq ft mountain home during power outages. Handles all my 110 loads no problem and is considerably more quiet than some other generators in the neighborhood. Very long run times at light loads.

Quiet, dual fuel, remote start!

So far so good, the item seems to be a good unit. Runs off propane and gas which is a bonus and I was surprised to see it start up first try using the remote. Very cool. Happy with the purchase.

Great features & service

Living in the California Redwoods where storms regularly take down trees and power lines, we really needed backup power. After a ton of research we chose the Westinghouse iGen4500 Dual Fuel Generator. We love the low decibel sound level, the high wattage output, and the dual fuel flexibility. We've got it set up to plug in to our electric service panel so that lights, outlets, TV and computer all function normally. Great generator! Now we're not worried about another big storm!
