Received the iGen4500DF yesterday. It was packed well and had no apparent damage. The unit started easily on LP but I didn't have proper gas to try. Everything seems to operate as it should. Will test it with loads soon and report with a new review. I see no reason at this time to rate this portable generator anything but a 5. Really do wish that gen cover would be for my size unit!!!

Works so well

Bought just at the time of the great Oregon ice storm of 2021. We hadn't got it hooked into the house before the ice hit and knocked out power for 3 days. We ran cords all over the place. It had no problem running a couple ceramic heaters, lights, microwave, and refrigerator. Its very quiet which I think the neighbors appreciate. Also mizerly on gas usage. We could run it from 5pm at night to 7:30 the next day on a single tank of gas. That was about 14 hours. Really appreciated the long runtime, not having to refuel it at night in the dark.
My only complaint was the battery died from the cold after the ice storm was over. I had to buy a replacement battery for it which wasn't cheap.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my 2nd and 1 for a friend. No problems, does what is supposed to do and is easy on the owner doing it. Starts easy even after extended non use. Happy with purchase

Great features

Bought after an ice storm so will be prepared if I ever lose power for an extended time. Should run my 29 ft camper with ease and should be plug in and go due to the 30 amp receptacle on the front. This should meet my needs but will update if have problems.

Great, versatile unit !

I bought this last week to use with my camper. I liked the dual fuel feature since my camper uses propane as well, an extra tank serves a dual purpose. The size was perfect to fit in my truck bed with the bed cover on. I also recently used it to power some equipment while I was at my boat working! I connect a propane tank and pushed the start button and it started right up. The quiet operation makes the wife happy! That's another plus. It goes right along with my larger 9500DF that powers my whole house.

I bought this for Boondocking only ran for the five hours required before you load the compressor up nice and quiet looking forward to using it on my camping trip

We live in Texas and with this recent unprecedented artic weather, this generator literally saved lives. It powered up our friends house with no problem. This was a great buy.

Love the remote/push button start. Also like the pull start as backup...smart! quiet operation is amazing. Great fuel efficiency in both propane and gasoline.
