Great dual fuel feature!

After searching several generator options out there, I kept coming back to iGen4500DF. The features on the control panel are top of the line and the ability switch to natural gas is a game changer, especially when gas is scarce if we are hit by a hurricane. It is even compact enough to take on our boat for camping trips. Very happy with the purchase.

It was everything I expected. No issues at all have run it with gasoline and propane. Plan to use this to power my Travel Trailer when boone-docking. Will not be able to run everything but confirmed it will run one of my two AC units and the electric water heater simultaneously. Gives me enough headroom to manage the essentials.

Packaging did it's job but wasn't the best or the worst. Had to connect battery, add oil (they give you almost twice what you need), and connect propane and it started right up. Will see how it lasts over time. I have a larger westinghouse generator that still works fine from 5 years ago.

I have a camper that we have started using on a farm where generators are the only source of power. I initially borrowed several inverter gens between 3000w and 3500w and seemed to have some issues with each one. I then purchased a 9500w powerhorse. It worked great and had plenty of power, but I couldn't hear myself think because it was so loud. After a year of that, I recently purchase the 4500 duel fuel. It did not seem to run right at first, like the choke was stuck on, but I did some research and saw that there have been some issues with the automatic choke not being plugged in at the wiring harness. It seems like this has been an issue based on other reviews. It took 5 minutes to fix that based on watching a youtube video and it ran perfect after that. I ran it initially about 10 hours at my house with nothing hooked to it and changed the oil to prepare for a camping trip. My first weekend, I ran this for 4 days straight with ZERO ISSUES. It was super quiet and never ran over 50% capacity based on the meter on the generator. What was really unexpected was the fuel consumption. I used about 1/2 the fuel that I have been using with the 9500 powerhorse. Long story short...I love this generator. I usually do NOT leave reviews, but was very impressed with this machine! I would highly recommend and I have several camping friends that will be purchasing this as well.

Very quiet

I bought this as an upgrade from our Honda Eu2000 in order to power our travel trailer A/C. This unit is just as quiet and the remote feature is fantastic!
